ENIGMA - PREDICT CVD Diabetes
This award is for the most innovative product, service or initiative overall, developed in New Zealand and delivered electronically to New Zealanders.
Nominations and entries were not accepted for this award. All finalists, whether they won their category or not, were automatically eligible.
Creating PREDICT CVD-Diabetes was a collaborative team effort involving a national group of clinicians and support staff from primary care, secondary care and non-governmental organisations.
Of note is the 2006 TUANZ Innovation Award for overall innovation recognising the “The most innovative product, service or initiative overall, developed in New Zealand and delivered electronically to New Zealanders”.
The judges said “We looked for a fully New Zealand-developed product that impacted on the maximum number of people to produce the greatest benefit. The extent of the collaboration was a significant factor in choosing Enigma for this best of the best award.”
